Starting at midnight Thursday, everyone in Norman is ordered to stay home unless they're going out to get necessities or for essential jobs.
The new restrictions make it so all nonessential businesses across Norman have to close their doors. This will now include places like salons, barbershops and tattoo parlors.

Essential activities during this stay at home order are limited to getting takeout or delivery from restaurants, getting groceries and visiting the doctor.
Cleveland County just confirmed the first patient there who died from COVID-19. A woman with no underlying health conditions in her 60s.
Mayor Breea Clark said  the decision is one of the hardest shes had to make.
"This is the hardest thing I've ever had to announce as an elected official, and my heart goes out to this woman," she said.
Mayor Clark's order will last 21 days, currently its planned to be lifted April 14th at midnight.
