Super Tuesday could prove to be dynamic in Oklahoma when the polls close with more than a third of voters up for grabs and polls showing an about face from the more liberal end of the Democratic party to the moderate wing, compared to 2016.

According to our latest News9/SoonerPoll poll, Former Vice President Joe Biden and Former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg are in a statistical dead heat, although Biden does show a two-point lead.

In third, and quite a ways behind the two front runners is Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) with about 13 percent of the vote. Sanders won the 2016 primary handily against Secretary Hillary Clinton beating her by double digits and winning every county except Oklahoma and Tulsa counties.

After sanders is Sen. Elizabeth Warren with about 9 percent of the vote, despite her Oklahoma roots.

The big question today is who Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) voters will vote for now that their candidates have dropped out of the race. Both candidates endorsed Biden in a likely attempt to strengthen the moderate lane of the primary against Sanders and siphon some voters away from Bloomberg.

Combined, Buttigieg and Klobuchar supporters accounted for about 16 percent of the vote and it's not a lock they'll all break for Biden. Combine that with nearly 20 percent of voters who say they’re still undecided, that’s somewhere between a third to 40 percent of votes still up in the air as Democrats and Independents head to the polls.
