Because of that, all students in both districts will be in distance learning on Friday. U.S. Capitol Police initially rejected help from the Department of Homeland Security during the assault on the Capitol on January 6, according to former acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf. Wolf says that he offered to send DHS law enforcement backup just after 2 p.m. that day, after a violent mob of Trump supporters had begun to infiltrate the Capitol. City Of Owasso Working To Repair Roads, Fill Potholes After Winter Weather

The City of Owasso is still working to repair some roads following last month’s blast of winter weather. The harsh temperatures broke down many roads and left potholes behind. A section of 106th Street North near Garnett has been closed for several hours each day as crews work to repair the deteriorated road. Roger Stevens, Public Works Director for the City of Owasso, told News On 6 crews are digging up about eight inches of soil and laying new asphalt in different areas. Stevens said the moist
