The Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum will be hosting a traveling photography exhibit later in April. The exhibit is called "Smoke Over Oklahoma: The Railroad Photographs of Preston George." It is a collection of 25 black and white photographs taken of the railroads in Oklahoma in the 1930s and 40s when George worked as a Civil Engineer. The Oklahoma Historical Society has announced the line-up and theme for the 2021 Oklahoma History Conference. This year's conference will feature Muscogee Creek poet, playwright and author Joy Harjo, who holds the title of Incumbent U.S. Poet Laureate. It will also feature author, professor and lawyer Hannibal Johnson and, a special performance by the Red Dirt Rangers.
