Ambassador Taylor On Withholding Assistance To Ukraine: 'It Was Crazy'

<p>Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor: "I meant, because of the importance of security assistance, that we had just described and had a conversation with the chairman, that security system was so important for Ukraine as well as for our national interest, to withhold that assistance, for no good reason other than help with the political campaign, made no sense. It was counterproductive to all of what we had been trying to do. ... It was crazy."</p>
