Strong winds are sweeping through most of the state Wednesday.
A Wind Advisory is in effect until this evening for almost the entire state. Southerly winds will be sustained at 25 to 35 mph, with gusts higher than 40 mph at times.
In addition to the winds, a dryline will move into far western Oklahoma through the afternoon, bringing low relative humidity values and high temperatures. These factors will create high fire danger for the western line of counties, and a Red Flag Warning is in effect until this evening for the elevated risk of rapidly spreading wildfires.
