A man is in the hospital with severe head injuries after being hit by two cars on N Penn Ave. and W Memorial Rd.

A man suffered severe head injuries after being hit by two cars early Friday morning, police said.

A man was trying to flag down cars near N Pennsylvania Ave. and W Memorial Rd. after his car reportedly broke down at around 1:45 a.m. Friday. While trying to get help, the man was clipped by a car in the road, he spun into traffic and was hit by a second car, police said.

The man was taken to a local hospital with severe head injuries. His name has not been released.

No charges have been filed.
