After 13-year-old Harli White crashed her race car over a month ago at the Interstate 44 Speedway, her family said the recovering teen could be back home in a few weeks.

Rev. Randy Allen has been keeping in touch with the White family who is still at a hospital in Galveston, Texas.

"Harli's doctors are just amazed that she is healing and progressing the way she is doing, so we're just really excited about that," Rev. Allen said.

The family could be headed back to their small town of Lindsay sooner than most anticipated. Friends and family members have been monitoring the girl's quick recovery on Harli White's Web site.

"I really think we will be home in about four to five weeks if things continue like they are," the family said.

Family and friends said it's nothing short of a miracle considering the third degree burns the young girl suffered, but they know the road to recovery is still long.

Donations are still pouring in from T-shirt sales.

"Half the proceeds go to the Harli Fund and the other half goes for the T-shirt and the costs," Sharla Marcum said.

They said it's the least they could do for a family that has done so much for their community.

"I promise you, if it was somebody else that family would do the same for them," Rev. Allen said.

On Harli White's Web site, the family has thanked people across the country for donations, cards and prayers.
