Oklahoma City police said they have found one of the two men responsible for a string of weekend robberies.
Police booked 19-year-old Anthony Keys in connection to the robberies. Keys faces five counts of Armed Robbery and one count of Auto Burglary.
The robbers are believed to have been involved in at least seven different parking lot robberies this month. They are described as two black men, between 20 to 28-years-old, about 5-foot-eight-inches tall and weighing about 185 to 200 lbs. and could be armed.
According to robbery unit police officers, the alleged robbers will typically seek out people who are distracted as they walk through parking lots. According to witnesses, suspects will sometimes point a gun at the victims as they rob them, police said.
Police said they stopped a vehicle they believed was used in the robberies. Keys was driving that vehicle that matched a description of one of the two men involved in the robberies. He is now in police custody.
Police said they are still searching for the second man involved.
Police are asking if anyone notices anything suspicious to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 235-7300.
