Dustin Dolton returned to a welcoming family Tuesday after serving in Iraq. Ronald Dolton, Dustin's grandfather, was one of many family members awaiting the soldiers' arrival at the airport.

"I'm waiting for my grandson," Ronald Dustin said. "It's been heart rendering, believe me."

Proud of Dustin Dolton's service in the Army, the Dolton family also sees fit to clap for every man and woman walking by in uniform.

"They deserve every bit of admiration that anybody can bestow on them," Ronald Dolton said.

When Sergeant Dustin Dolton walked through the gate, the claps were replaced by salutes, hugs and kisses.

Russell Dolton, the soldier's father, said the homecoming was anxiously awaited.

"This is his third time over there. I'm just glad to have him here finally," Russell Dolton said. "My baby's home."

Dustin Dolton has two weeks for rest and relaxation, and his father said the plans are low-key.

"Sit around and talk," Russell Dolton said. "See what's been going on in his life."

Dustin Dolton has six more months to serve and the 23-year-old is service his third tour. His family said their soldier has earned the nickname "Grand-Dad" while in Iraq.
