Oklahoma City police are asking the public for help in identifying a man who attempted to rob a woman at the Wal-Mart at Interstate 240 and Santa Fe Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. on July 18.

Police said two white teenage males approached the woman at her parked car. According to police the teens attempted to take the woman's purse from her and struck her in the process.

A nearby witness honked his horn and yelled at the teens and they fled the scene, police said. According to police, the teens failed to take the woman's purse.

The teens are described as white males, each in their mid to late teens. They were seen driving a dark blue 2000 to 2003 Chevy Tahoe with a paper tag on it.
