WARR ACRES, Okla. - Two metro attorneys were arrested Friday morning at a fast food restaurant and police said the men were very hostile.
The attorneys were allegedly drunk and driving the wrong way in the drive-thru of a What-a-Burger near Northwest Expressway and MacArthur Boulevard.
When Warr Acre police took Lewis Moon and David Bedford into custody, the men acted out while cameras were rolling.
"At some point during the scuffle, the person sitting in the driver's seat spat on one of our Sargents in the face," Lt. Matt Berger said.
The men begged to be taken to the county jail and repeatedly refused to answer questions, police said.
"Will you take the state's breath test?" an officer asked Moon. "I'm not doing nothing," Moon said.
The men were separated, but they continued to lash out at the officers.
"What's sad is you guys are supposed to be working on the same side as we are, but you guys are acting worse than anybody I've dealt with," a Warr Acres officer said.
Moon complained he had his head slammed into the window of the police car during the arrest.
Authorities said the men also tried to impersonate an officer and threatened police by dropping judges' names and threatening to sue.
