CHANDLER, Okla. --Authorities are looking for a man charged with shooting with intent to kill who escaped from the Lincoln County Jail Monday.
Washburn was sentenced to 20 years for his conviction. Michael Washburn was scheduled to meet with his attorney Monday morning when bolted and ran from the jail, sheriff's deputies said.
Investigators narrowed their search to a residential area where Washburn's some of family members live. Authorities dispatched a robot to the area and instructed Washburn to surrender.
Washburn is described as a black male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and in his 30s.
