Search continues for missing kayaker

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police continue to investigate the possible drowning of a kayaker in a private lake near Warr Acres.

According to witnesses, the man flipped his kayak in the lake located near NW 53 and N Grove Avenue and did not resurface.

The dive team was called to the scene where they helped assist in the search.

The male is described as around 20-years-old, wearing a dark T-shirt and an orange baseball cap.

Witnesses said he regularly visits the lake.

His whereabouts are unknown. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
