Wind adds fuel to farm fire

Wind whipped up the flames at a fire early Sunday on the far south side of Oklahoma City.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Wind whipped up the flames at a fire early Sunday on the far south side of Oklahoma City.

The fire consumed about 4 acres of a farm land near SW 164 Street and Western Avenue. The hay bales scattered over the property added to the fire's intensity.

The fire didn't hit any structures and no one was injured, but the high winds made it difficult for firefighters to get the blaze under control and put it out.
