Langston student injured in campus shooting

LANGSTON, Okla. -- An unidentified student was shot in the shoulder Tuesday on the campus of Langston University.

School officials acted quickly to regain order.

The student, who did not suffer life-threatening injuries, was taken to the Logan Medical Center, where he was listed in fair condition.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the school continue to investigate the situation. An arrest was made, but no details about specific charges were released.

Officials believe the shooting was an isolated event, and chose not to lockdown the campus.
