Diehard Fans Become Newlyweds at Bedlam

Planning a wedding at Bedlam takes time, but two newlyweds said it was worth it to never miss a game.

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Planning a wedding at Bedlam takes time, but two newlyweds said it was worth it to never miss a game.

Mr. and Mrs. Scott Stewart, two diehard OSU fans, decided to bring their marriage straight to the tailgate party.

Dressed in OSU jerseys, including their bridal party, the two said "I do" in a tailgating tent among friends and family, who are also big Cowboys fans, Saturday before the big game.

"I couldn't have asked for anything more," Scott Stewart said.

The couple spent 8 months planning for their big day, but it was worth it. They even got some of the OSU band to play the fight song at the end of the ceremony.

"We love our Cowboys so much, and we couldn't think of a better way to do this," Yvonne Stewart said.

Scott Stewart said it was actually his wife's idea to have their wedding before the game, not his.
