OKLAHOMA CITY -- School is out for the holidays, as students around the metro are spending their days on vacation until school begins again after the first of the year.
There are several activities to keep the children occupied during the cold days in December, including a trip to the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History in Norman, where they can travel back in time million s of years and see Oklahoma during the Jurassic period.
"We've got a couple of world record holding dinosaurs here at our museum," Coldwell said.
One family drove to Oklahoma City from Dallas to see the exhibit.
"We like to visit colleges all over the country," visitor Rachel Simon said. "This is the best museum we've ever seen at a college."

Devon Energy's annual outdoor ice rink has become a holiday tradition for many.
"They were just too tired of being in the house, so we brought them out to skate," skate rink visitor Angelia Landry said.
