OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City police have arrested three suspects in connection to a string of robberies across the metro on Monday.
Five separate victims were robbed Monday, but thanks to an alert detective, police were able to catch the three men responsible.
Oklahoma City police said they have enough evidence to tie the suspects to the five robberies, but they also believe they may be responsible for even more.
Jesus Montoya, who wouldn't show his face on camera, knows how fortunate he is because he's alive and uninjured after being robbed outside his apartment complex two days ago.
"I say in my mind ‘Praise God,' I mean nothing happened to me," Montoya said.
The robbers did get away with Montoya's wallet and $90 in cash.
Police believe the men responsible for robbing Montoya and at least four other people are 20-year-old Cedric Hill, 18-year-old Dionte Carter and 18-year-old William Oates.
"Bethany officers noticed the vehicle being used in these crimes and notified Oklahoma City Police," Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Gary Knight said.
From there Oklahoma City Police were able to catch the three suspects, who are currently being held in the Oklahoma County Jail.
Montoya hopes the three men will learn from their actions.
"I want to call to their attention this is not the right way to do it, this is the wrong way," Montoya said.
Oklahoma City Police said they are working with other police departments to see if the three suspects are responsible for crimes in Bethany and Warr Acres.
