DEL CITY, Oklahoma - Three men were arrested after a man was injured in a "road rage" stabbing this morning in Del City, police said.

Jeremy Whitlow, 26, Randal Frazier, 23, and Chris Carter, 24, were arrested on complaints of assault with a deadly weapon, Del City Police Captain Jody Suit said. The men are suspected of attacking another driver.

At 1 a.m. Friday morning, police received a report of a wreck where several people were fighting near S.E. 15th and Hisel streets, Suit said.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found one male victim suffering from numerous stab wounds. The man was transported to OU Medical Center and underwent surgery for severe injuries, Suit said.

The suspects and their vehicle were located about half a mile from the wreck site. Investigators said they think Whitlow was responsible for stabbing the victim but all three were believed to have taken part in the altercation.

Captain Suit said the road rage incident started near S.E. 104th Street and Robinson Avenue in Oklahoma City. The suspects allegedly began yelling and throwing beer bottles at the car the victim was riding in. The suspect chased the victim's vehicle to Del City where the two vehicles eventually collided on S.E. 15th Street immediately before the stabbing occurred.

Whitlow was also arrested on a complaint of driving under the influence.
