OKLAHOMA CITY - Nationally, Girl Scout cookie sales are down, but in Oklahoma, these girls are earning some green.
Booth sales started Friday, so you can now buy your favorite cookies outside various stores.
Oklahoma girl scouts are also trying another strategy to keep their sales up.
"We are an on demand society. We like to have our things in hand, so I think the fact that we have had the cookies from day one has really helped us out," said Jaci Standridge with the Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma.
Another helpful factor in keeping sales high was that peanut butter tagalongs were not part of the salmonella scare.
