OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a woman whose remains were found in 2008.

A forensic artist working with the police homicide unit and the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's Office has created a facial reconstruction of the dead woman.

An OG&E crew located the remains in the 300 block of S.W. 10th St. while working on the new I-40 on Nov. 5, 2008.

The remains are believed to be those of a young adult American Indian female. A cause of death has yet to be determined.

Police have asked anyone with information regarding the identity of the woman to call the homicide tip line at (405) 297-1200.
