Police Arrest 2 Suspects After Pursuit, Crash In Yukon, OKC

A police pursuit that started in Yukon ended with a crash in Oklahoma City Sunday night.

YUKON, Oklahoma -- A police pursuit that started in Yukon ended with a crash in Oklahoma City Sunday night.

Police said 28-year-old Daniel Bean and 37-year-old Johnny O'Neal burglarized Yukon Hibdon Tires Sunday at 10:30 p.m., stealing a television set and an ashtray.  Officers started chasing the suspects near N.W. 10th Street and Mustang Road.  After 25 minutes, an officer used a tactical move to stop the their pickup truck.

The truck rolled at N.W. 23rd Street and Tropicana Avenue.  Police arrested the driver at the scene, but the other suspect ran away.

Around 2:20 a.m., a homeowner heard moaning and other noises in a backyard in the 700 block of Skylark Avenue.  When police arrived, they found the second suspect hiding in a trash can.  He received treatment for his injuries at the scene and was arrested.

The stolen items were returned to Yukon Hibdon Tires.
