OKLAHOMA CITY -- As tax day looms, IRS auctions are an interesting reminder of what can happen if you don't pay up. Skip out on your taxes and the IRS could come knocking.

Need a watch? How about some jewelry? There are all Items the IRS seized from those who didn't pay their taxes, and come Wednesday you can cash in.

"We have some really nice stuff. We have some high-end Rolex watches, a raw diamond. We have the inventory of a jewelry store, some clocks," said Sloane Wilkinson with the IRS.

Bill Henson said he plans to look for a bargain.

"Maybe some watches maybe some jewelry, it just depends," said Henson.

"They will get a bargain to some extent but a bargain to you isn't always a bargain to me if that makes sense," said Wilkinson.

The IRS seized these items from a handful of places including a jewelry store. The money raised will go toward the tax bills of those whose items the IRS seized. For one person that's more than $1 million.

The message that it's a good idea to pay your taxes isn't lost on the bidders either. The auction begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday April 13 at the IRS building at 55 N. Robinson in downtown Oklahoma City.
