CHOCTAW, Oklahoma -- A grandmother accused of abducting her three children from Choctaw is trying to gain emergency custody of the kids.

Haley Hanks, 7, Holly Hanks, 6, and Hayden Hanks, 8 months old, were found safe Friday morning.  They were staying with a relative.

Choctaw police say 46-year-old Judy Ann Harris and her friend, 46-year-old James Scoles, took the children Thursday afternoon. The children's biological mother has custody of them. Police say Harris was not scheduled to pick the kids up and she was not authorized to take them.

Harris is reportedly trying to file emergency paperwork to gain custody of the children.
