Man Arrested In Fatal Northwest Oklahoma City Shooting

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting Thursday night in northwest Oklahoma City.

Police responded to a shooting at the Village Lake Apartments in the 9200 block of N. MacArthur just before 10 p.m. Thursday. Once there, police found a deceased shooting victim in the parking lot of the apartment complex.

Investigators learned Jerdavion Ronell Knox, 22, had been arguing with the victim when it escalated into a fight. Knox then pulled out a gun and shot the victim, killing him.

Police located Knox shortly before 1 a.m. Friday morning at a residence in northwest Oklahoma City.

Knox was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of first-degree murder.

The victim's name has not been released.
