Northwest OKC Neighborhood Feels Terrorized By Teen

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Residents in the Blue Quail Ridge neighborhood in northwest Oklahoma City say they are worried about their safety.

Oklahoma City police responded to a possible burglary on Saturday morning. It was reported a 16-year-old neighbor was in someone's garage. Apparently, this is not uncommon. Police have responded to several burglaries in the area in which residents say the teen has been involved.

Neighbors say the teenager routinely gets out of his house, runs through the neighborhood naked and has even assaulted a woman. The woman's mother says the teen was naked when he grabbed her daughter by the arm and tried to pull her into her home. Another neighbor says the teen tried to get into his house, but after a short struggle the teen left and police were called.

Police cannot comment because the teenager has never been arrested.

The teen's brother says his brother is autistic and is very large for his age. He says the family is aware of the problems the teen has created in the neighborhood and realizes something needs to be done before he hurts someone or is injured himself.
