OKLAHOMA CITY -- Governor Mary Fallin's daughter has tied the knot. Twenty-four-year-old Christina Fallin married 32-year-old Matt Bacon, both of Oklahoma City, in Ireland last week.
Fallin's spokesman Alex Weintz described the event as a "small destination wedding" for a few family members and close friends.
Christina is one of two children from the governor's first marriage.
A state security detail is traveling with the governor. No details of the location or specific plans were announced due to security concerns.
Weintz also said a rehearsal dinner was held at the Governor's Mansion and a reception is slated for after the governor and her family return from the wedding.
