NORMAN, OK -- The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office is trying to identify two women in a theft that occurred at Country Boy IGA, 18450 E. State Highway 9 in Norman.

About 9:30 p.m. July 5, a woman entered the store with a diaper bag and put the bag into a shopping cart. The shopper decided to change carts but forgot to place her bag in the other cart. The bag contained cash, checks and other personal items.

A few minutes later, two Native American women walked in the business and noticed the bag in the cart. One of the women walked away. A security camera showed the other woman pushed the cart that contained the bag in to the store. She then took the bag and placed it in a shopping basket.

Both women were last seen leaving the parking lot in a maroon sport utility vehicle.

If you have information about this incident, call Cleveland County Sheriff's Office TIPS line at (405)-366-5787, Crime Stoppers at (405)-366-5789 or the sheriff's office at (405)-321-8600 and ask for a detective.
