OKLAHOMA CITY -- Congratulations to Jeanette Fields of Elmore City. She is the fourth and final winner in the News 9 Style My Summer Contest.

Fields has won a $500 shopping spree along with a makeover from Anthony David Salon.

Fields was nominated by her son, Chris Figueroa and chosen for her inspirational weight loss story. Jeanette is a true inspiration to anyone wanting to lose weight and proof that anything is achievable, if you just believe. She lost an amazing 55 pounds and what better way to celebrate her new body than with a new wardrobe.

Read her blogs as she documents her amazing journey to losing weight.

Read the essay submitted by her son below:

After years of working, schooling us and taking care of her "little farm" my mother (who is 47) had gotten out of shape and put on extra weight. Last year, she decided to take back her health and well being and lose the extra weight all by herself. After starting slow (10 minutes a day in exercise is all she was fit enough to do!) and watching and logging in her food journal every day, she was able to lose 55 pounds. It has now been 18 months and she is up to walking 4 miles a day (how far she has come from walking 10 minutes a day). She has long since met her weight loss goals with her motto "move 30 minutes a day." Many people have seen her over the last 18 months and have decided they can do it too and her good friend have now lost 45 pounds and they too are walking every day (albeit in another town). I am so proud of my mother and this year I have also started making good food choices and have lost 28 pounds myself. (I am a 24 year male armed security guard)

My mom sets a great example for any age group and especially the over 40 group and is such an encouragement to all those trying to get back in shape and regain great health. I would love to see her have a makeover as a well deserved reward and also to show others as to what we can achieve if we just believe we can and to put that eating and exercise plan into action!
