EDMOND, Oklahoma – Edmond Police are searching for a man they say used an 83-year-old woman's stolen debit card to purchase $2,000 worth of gift cards.

The woman lost her credit card in August after she used it at a grocery store. She told police she believes it fell out of her wallet.

She called her bank a few hours later and learned someone had bought $2,000 in gift cards at Target on E. 2nd Street in Edmond. The bank had already closed the account because they determined the charge was fraudulent.

Police have obtained surveillance video from Target of the many they say made those fraudulent purchases. They're asking people to take a close look at the man and notify police if the recognize him.

Police have also released pictures of the suspect's car. If you have any information, call Detective Matt Terry at the Edmond Police Department at (405) 359-4491.
