Man Killed In OKC Car Crash Identified

News 9 has learned the name of a man who was killed when his car crashed on Kelley near Wilshire early Tuesday morning.

Police said 41-year-old Billy Newman, Jr., of Bethany was driving his SUV just before 5:30 a.m. when he suddenly went off the road. His vehicle slammed into some trees, rolled over and landed upside down.

Paramedics rushed to the accident, but Newman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are not sure yet what caused the crash.

Kelley between Wilshire and Britton was closed for a couple of hours while police investigated the accident. The road reopened just before 9 a.m.
