The Turner Turnpike is back open after a wrong-way crash Saturday morning in Lincoln County.
It happened just after 4 a.m. Saturday, on the Turner Turnpike at Mile Marker 153.6 in Lincoln County.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis driven by 21-year-old Joshua Brownell was going east in the westbound lanes of the Turnpike. The vehicle traveled ten miles before crashing into the wall.
Brownell was transported by EMSA to Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was treated and released.
There were three passengers, including 18-year-old Roberto Ochoa, 1-year-old Maceo Molina, and 21-year-old Johnny Kemble, in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Ochoa was pinned in the vehicle for about 20 minutes before being freed by the Oklahoma City Fire Department. He was transported to Mercy Hospital in stable condition with internal and leg injuries. Molina was taken to Mercy Hospital and was treated and released.
Kemble was pinned in the vehicle for 20 minutes before being freed by firefighters. He was transported by Eagle Med to Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City in stable condition with internal and external trunk injuries.
Troopers said alcohol is believed to have been a factor.
