Police Investigate Homicide After Body Found In East OKC Home

Oklahoma City police are investigating a homicide after a body was discovered at a home on the east side of the metro.

According to police, officers were checking the welfare of a person living at a house, located in the 1100 block of Windemere Drive Friday afternoon when they discovered a body.

The identity of that person has not been released.

News 9 was on the scene when the body was transported. Police say they will release more information Monday morning.
