Cars Become Stranded On Flooded Norman Streets

Several cars stalled across Norman as drivers tried to make their way across flooded streets.

Monday's downpour dumped several inches of rain in the area, leading to a flood advisory in Norman. The water rose quickly at the intersection of W. Lindsey and Elm.

Several cars attempted to cross the flooded streets. At least one stalled and became stranded. The driver and a passenger managed to push it out of the street.

The rain is expected to fall throughout the day across the state.
