Oklahoma City police say someone with a gun fired shots into another car while both vehicles were driving on Broadway Extension Tuesday night.

Officers received calls of shots fired from one vehicle to another around 9:30 p.m. The two vehicles were both southbound at that time.

According to authorities, one driver was shot and pulled his vehicle into the Conoco gas station, located near N.W. 63rd Street and Broadway Extension, to ask for help. The driver later died at the scene.

The passenger in that vehicle was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say they are currently developing suspect information. It is unclear whether the victims had any weapons with them at the time of the shooting.

Broadway Extension from Hefner Road to south of Wilshire Boulevard was shut down as officers searched for evidence in the shooting.

The identities of the victims have not been released.
