Emily Neagle made it through Sunday morning's tornado, but realized she had left her ring on the bathroom counter.
Neagle had also left behind the family dog. A family friend said Neagle only had time to grab her children and take shelter, as she happened to turn on the TV and heard they had minutes to get out.
Neagle and her neighbors searched with a metal detector for nearly eight hours before finding her ring.
"I just still can't believe I found it, or they found that. A needle in a haystack," Neagle said.
A little boy also found the family dog, fortunately it was not injured.
