Agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation are looking for a man who robbed an Oklahoma City bank Friday afternoon.
It happened at about 4:40 p.m. Friday, at the Bank of America, located at 5900 North Portland Avenue in Oklahoma City. Authorities say the suspect walked into the bank and gave the bank teller a note demanding money. The note was written on the bank's deposit slip and stated "all the money in the draw[sic] or I will shoot."
According to authorities, while gathering the money, the teller heard the robber say "30 seconds," then "20 seconds," that's when the teller realized the suspect was counting down and complied with the robber's demand.
The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. He fled the scene in an unknown direction, according to the FBI.
The suspect is described as a white male with a dark complexion and dark colored hair. He was in his mid or late 20s. Agents say he stands about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He was wearing a red baseball cap, a dark shirt and blue jeans.
Authorities say no weapon was seen during the robbery, and no one was injured.
The robbery is under the investigation of the FBI and Oklahoma City police. If you have any information, call the FBI at (405)-290-7770. You may remain anonymous.
The Oklahoma Banker's Association offers up to $2,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and/or conviction of anyone robbing a member bank.
