A man was in critical condition Friday after the motorcycle he was riding slammed into an SUV Thursday night at N.E. 21st Street and N. Eastern Avenue in Moore.
Moore police say the motorcycle rider was traveling south on Eastern when he collided with a gold SUV traveling northbound that turned onto N.E. 21st Street.
Police say the SUV had nearly completed the turn when the motorcycle hit the passenger side of the vehicle. The motorcycle's driver, a 40-year-old man, was thrown 25 to 30 feet. He was not wearing a helmet.
An ambulance rushed the man to a local hospital in critical condition.The people in the SUV were not hurt.
