The unit is known as "America's Wing" and has spent the last six months in Afghanistan.

"Awesome! Just awesome. It's a long six months. First deployment, so, it's just great to be back. With family again back together," Lt. Chad Stoll said.

The group has been doing weather surveillance to help track aircraft, ships and enemy movement in Afghanistan.
