Police Arrest Suspect In Fatal Shooting In Midwest City

Police have arrested one person in a fatal shooting in Midwest City Friday afternoon.

According to police, officers responded to a disturbance call at around 12 p.m. Friday, in the 1400 block of Maple Drive in Midwest City. As officers arrived, they saw one body in the street.

However, according to police, before officers could get to the body, someone fired shots at the officers from inside a house. Police then surrounded the house and took the suspect into custody.

Police have not released the identities of the suspect and the victim.
