Thunder fans will not only be gathering downtown, but also across the city. People everywhere around the metro are showing support for the team.
If you've missed watching the games on the big screen in Thunder alley, fear no more. Instead, one business is giving everyone the chance to come out and chant "Fear the Beard".
"I feel like you are either a Thunder fan or you're a Thunder fan, here in the city," said
From the ground up, Oklahoma City is draped with displays to support the Thunder. Windows, walls and even the fans are decorated for a win.
"I kind of almost add something new every day and I got this shirt the other day and started wearing my cape. James Harden is my favorite player," said Thunder fan, Abby Billing.
"Harden hit that last shot in the last game. We had to do it," said Billing.
The "Fear the Beard" craze is on a whole new level, literally.
"I think he is going to like it. I think it is going to start a chain reaction with beards throughout the city, maybe around the nation" said Brad Owens, also a big fan of the Thunder.
Ketch Design Group, on north Western, is not only replicating a symbol of the Thunder, but also Thunder Alley.
"We have a projection TV and a big screen coming, refreshments, and we will just block this off and see what happens," said Ronnie Ketch.
In addition to the watch parties, some places are even giving fans the opportunity to "relieve themselves" of their true feelings for the Spurs, all for the sport of it, and the chance to flush the Spurs out of the playoffs.
Fans are expected to start gathering at Ketch Design group on NW 44th and Western around 6 p.m.
