Oklahoma City native Wes Welker was reportedly involved in a scuffle in Colorado while celebrating his unofficial bachelor party over the weekend.
According to the New York Post, things got heated with security guards when Welker and several friends tried to enter the Patron tequila sponsored "Summerology" event on Friday in Aspen Colorado.
Witnesses say the group walked up to the restaurant and tried to enter the event without checking in with the staff.
"Security tried to subdue the group" when a brawl almost broke out, a source told the New York Post.
Welker and his crew were not arrested, but those who saw the scuffle go down said police threatened to do so and that Welker had to be "physical restrained" as security broke up the scuffle before kicking the group off the property.
The incident didn't stop Welker from enjoying the weekend as he was still out and about at the 30th annual Aspen Food and Wine Classic frequently tweeting about the new beverages he sampled.
Welker, who grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Heritage Hall High School, is a wide receiver for the New England Patriots.
He and fiancee Anna Burns, a model, will reportedly tie the knot this weekend in Colorado.
"Getting married in 6 days and so fired up about the reception..... Oh yeah, and marrying the most beautiful girl in the world!", Welker wrote on Monday night.
