Saturday morning brings another volunteer search effort for a missing Kingfisher woman.
Seventy-six-year-old Betty Simon has been missing since June 20. She vanished after visiting her husband Leo, who's been recovering from heart surgery at an Oklahoma City assisted living center.
Betty Simon had a 45-minute drive to get home. She never made it.
Saturday morning, volunteers will meet at 8:30 a.m. at Stars and Stripes Park next to Lake Hefner to search for Betty Simon.
Friday night, a standing room only church congregation in Kingfisher prayed for Betty Simon and her family.
Betty Simon was driving a silver metallic 2004 Buick LeSabre, with Oklahoma license tag number 169-EZM.
