Pottawatomie County authorities are still searching for a 3-year-old girl who was abducted by her father from Shawnee Tuesday afternoon.

An Amber Alert was first issued for two children after police say 32-year-old Robert Almon abducted his daughter Chasity Almon, 3, and family friend Aaron Brodine Jr., 10, from 10 Austin Drive in Shawnee just after 12 p.m. Tuesday.

Deputies were attempting to serve a warrant on Robert Almon for assault with a dangerous weapon when he took off with the children. Initially, deputies chased him but ended the pursuit because the kids were in Almon's truck.

Pottawatomie County deputies confirmed Tuesday evening around 6:30 p.m., that the 10-year-old boy was dropped off on the side of the road near McCloud in rural Pottawatomie County, but Chasity is still missing.

When she was last seen, Chasity was wearing a pink shirt and shorts. It's believed Robert Almon is driving a 2007 silver Chevy Silverado with the license plate number 225-FHP and a small white Atlanta Braves "A" in the rear window.

If you have any information on Robert Almon's whereabouts or if you spot his vehicle, please call 911 immediately.
