One victim, Norman Michael Richards, was seriously injured in the shooting but is now recovering. Richards took the stand Friday morning. The 22 year old testified he went with friend Xavier Rivers to downtown's Thunder Alley to watch the playoff game between the Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers.

Richards told the court he parked at the Bass Pro Shop about 7:30 p.m. and went to watch the game. He left Thunder Alley during the fourth quarter.

Richards said as he and his friend were leaving, they heard a commotion and heard some girls screaming, and then shots rang out. He said he took off running and was just passing the Sonic restaurant in Bricktown when he was shot in the back.

Richards testified he fell forward, and his friend tried to help him up. Richards said the next thing he remembered was being in a hospital bed a week later. He said at first, he thought he was in a car accident.

Richards was in the hospital for 33 days because of his injuries. He said part of his stomach, intestine, liver and bowel had to be removed. One of his kidneys was also removed.

A 14-year-old girl also testified. She said she was in Bricktown near the Sonic when the shooting started. She and two friends were shot. She says the bullet went through her leg, breaking her ankle.

When the girl was asked to identify the shooter in court, she broke down in tears. She said no one in her group of friends had a weapon, but Meyers pulled out a gun to shoot at her friends and into the crowd.
