A 7-Eleven clerk is attacked over two cases of beer and the assault was caught on surveillance video.

The injuries were so severe the clerk needed surgery to his face.

The person who assaulted him got away but didn't escape the camera, so police want you to watch the video carefully.

Witnesses say the whole thing started just before 9 a.m. on Sunday, July 29, when a group of four people walked into the 7-Eleven on S. Walker. The man in the striped shirt grabbed two cases Budweiser, then walked out the door without paying.

The clerk followed the man outside and confronted him.

"The man on the driver's side got out of the truck and he went like ‘What are you going to do?' kind of thing," witness Jessica Ridder sai.

Ridder says that's when the man in the striped shirt punched the clerk.

"I just hear ‘pop' as loud as can be. I just look over and the guys are driving off and the clerk's standing there with blood gushing, I mean gushing, from his face," Ridder said.

Police are looking for four people; the man in the striped shirt, the woman in front of him in the white mini-skirt, the woman in the black shirt, and the man in a black shirt.

Police also have a good description of the vehicle: a black late 1990s model Chevy Yukon with tinted windows and a big scratch down the side.

"The fact that the guys haven't been caught yet, it sickens me really," Ridder said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.  Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
