A call about a loud party leads to the arrests of eight adults and one juvenile accused of using marijuana at Lake Arcadia at Edmond Park.

An officer arrived at the park just before 1 a.m. on August 13. He found several people sitting at a picnic table. There were also glass beer bottles and beer cans littered around the area. When the officer asked if everyone at the table was 21 years old, everyone replied they were not.

While talking with the subjects, the officer noticed one person trying to cover something. When the officer walked closer, he saw a green leafy substance he believed to be marijuana. The officer also found more marijuana in a baggie, as well as smoking pipes and an orange bong.

The officer called for backup and asked the group who the drugs belonged to, but no one spoke. The officer advised them if no one claimed the drugs, he would arrest everyone. When everyone remained silent, police arrested all nine people.

Peter Ramos, 20, Nicolas Bouseman, 18, Amy Countryman, 18, Cayman Day, 18, Zoey Fryhover, 18, Sarah Myers, 18, Brian Sheetz, 18, and Parker Nelson, 18, were booked into the Edmond City Jail on complaints of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and minor in possession of low-point beer.
