The FBI says a man dubbed the "Bucket List Bandit" was arrested Wednesday night in Roland, Oklahoma.
The FBI believes Michael Eugene Brewster, 54, robbed banks in nine states. The FBI nicknamed the robber the "Bucket List Bandit" after he allegedly told a Utah bank teller he had only four months to live.
A Roland police officer pulled over Brewster Wednesday night for a traffic stop. When the officer checked, he discovered the car Brewster was driving was stolen in Florida, and had a fake license plate from Utah.
The Roland Police Department then discovered Brewster was wanted on a federal warrant for robbing the Huntington National Bank branch in Erie, Pennsylvania, on Monday.
Authorities then reviewed surveillance video and found an "obvious likeness" to Brewster during robberies in Missouri, Colorado, Arizona, Idaho, Utah, North Carolina, Tennessee and Illinois.
