Surveillance cameras captured images of a man burglarizing a northwest Oklahoma City home that belongs to former Oklahoma governor David Walters.

The video was taken September 23 at the house in the 6200 block of Riviera Drive, near N.W. 63rd Street and May. Governor Walter's daughter told police her parents were out of town, so she want to check on their home. When she arrived, she noticed a sliding glass door had been shattered.

The former governor's daughter told police when she walked inside, she noticed someone had rummaged through a closet and stolen some jewelry. She then called police.

When police checked video from surveillance cameras at the house, they saw a suspect walking beside the home. The video also showed the man tampering with some electrical equipment on the side of the house.

Oklahoma City investigators released images taken from the surveillance video, hoping someone will recognize the burglar. If you know who the man is, call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
